You can download this standalone program that will launch your recording properties at the push of a button(this will be in Screwlab v3.5 and the new Pro) Click on the link, and run from location. Launch recording properties Then jump to step 4.

1. Run Screwlab, Select "Edit" then "Volume"

2. Click "options" then "Properties"

3. Select "Recording" then make sure a check is in every box on the "Show the following controls:" frame. Then press the "OK" button

4. Select the "Stereo mix" or "Stereo out" or "Wave out" check box(different sound cards will vary) then try to record.

For best results you can always change these settings to fine-tune them while you're playing.
