Help Recording using Windows 7


Screwlab records through your soundcard and you need to enable the recording controls in Windows 7 in order to record your songs. Follow the steps below:

1. Right click on the sound icon in the lower right hand corner of your screen and select Recording Devices.

Right Click the sound Icon and Select Recording Devices

2. Right Click then "Show Disabled Devices"

Right Click then "Show Disabled Devices"

3. Select the Wave out Mix Device and Enable it. Click Set as Default Device

Select the Wave out Mix Device and Enable it. Click Set as Default Device

For best results adjust settings while recording to fine-tune.
